The Or Mitsva Jewish Women’s Club, operating under the Baku Sephardic Jewish Religious Community, has celebrated its third anniversary. At the same time, the club launched its new season following the holiday break.
Jnews.az reports that the event was held at Aviv, a newly opened kosher restaurant in Baku.
As part of the event, participants exchanged views in a warm and friendly atmosphere and discussed plans for the club’s future activities. The meeting also featured a discussion on the importance of preserving Jewish traditions and passing them on to future generations, teaching the Torah, and instilling Jewish values in children. The participants also discussed women’s observance of Jewish traditions, the preservation of national and spiritual values within families, and the role of these traditions in raising future generations.
The event also featured lessons dedicated to the upcoming Rosh Hashanah holiday. Participants were provided with information about the essence of the holiday and its significance in Jewish tradition.
The participants also emphasized the importance of increasing the active role of Jewish women in community life and society as a whole, as well as organizing various educational initiatives in this area.
It should be noted that Rimma Katsashvili, an active member of the community, is the head of the Or Mitsva Jewish Women’s Club.
The main goal of the Or Mitsva Club is to bring Jewish women together, encourage their active participation in community life, and organize various cultural, educational, and social events.
Over the club’s three years of activity, various meetings and events have been held. During the new season, the club plans to continue its activities and implement new projects.
