The funeral ceremonies for five Azerbaijani martyrs who were considered missing during the First Karabakh War, and whose identities were confirmed following the discovery of their remains, will take place on August 21. This was reported by the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Citizens.
According to the State Commission, the list of the identified martyrs is as follows:
- Cumshud Hasankhan oglu Mammadov;
- Sardar Jafar oglu Ismayilov;
- Vagif Mansim oglu Maharramov;
- Murshud Nadir oglu Narimanov;
- Akif Jabrayil oglu Gurbanov.
It was noted that the identities of these individuals missing from the First Karabakh War were confirmed through relevant forensic examination and identification procedures.
