Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially supported the US decision to impose sanctions on representatives of the International Criminal Court (ICC). The head of the Israeli government posted about this on his account on the social network X.
In his post, Netanyahu characterized the ICC as a «kangaroo court.» According to him, the court’s activities are aimed at covering up abuse of authority under the guise of international law. In the Prime Minister’s view, this constitutes a violation of the fundamental principles of justice.
The Israeli Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to US Secretary of State Marco Rubio for the Donald Trump administration’s efforts to combat the «illegal actions» of the ICC. Netanyahu also emphasized that the court’s leadership must be held accountable for its actions.
It should be noted that the White House administration imposed sanctions on two representatives of the International Criminal Court.
