The terrorist group HAMAS announced the transfer of the Palestinian movements' response to the "roadmap" for settling the situation in the Gaza Strip, proposed by the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Nikolay Mladenov.
According to a HAMAS statement, a unified position was formulated during negotiations held last week in Cairo. Representatives of the mediator countries: Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt participated in these negotiations.
The document expresses the readiness of Palestinian movements for a "responsible" transition to the second stage of US President Donald Trump's plan. However, it is emphasized that this requires the full implementation of the first stage.
"This implies an end to aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, a complete withdrawal of Zionist troops, ensuring full-scale humanitarian aid supplies, and the formation of an administrative committee," the movements' response states. The document also emphasizes the demand for the creation of a Palestinian state.
