The development of bilateral relations, regional security, efforts to secure lasting peace, as well as cooperation in economic and energy spheres were discussed during a meeting in Kyiv between Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha.
The sides also exchanged views on Azerbaijan's contributions to Ukraine's recovery and prospects for future cooperation.
Andrii Sybiha expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its humanitarian support provided since the start of the war, particularly its contributions to energy infrastructure restoration and reconstruction projects.
"Ukraine highly appreciates Azerbaijan's consistent support for its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and in turn remains committed to supporting Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity," Sybiha wrote in a post on X.
The Ukrainian Foreign Minister also expressed condolences over the deaths of Azerbaijani citizens during military operations in the Black Sea.
