An opening ceremony for the 7th Summer Camp of Azerbaijani Diaspora Youth was held in the city of Shusha. The event brought together young members of the Azerbaijani diaspora from around the world to strengthen ties with their historical homeland.
According to Report, the camp is organized by the State Committee on Work with Diaspora in cooperation with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. Main project activities will take place across Eastern Zangezur from August 2 to 8 under the motto 'Reviving Cities'.
This year, over 120 young people representing 64 countries are participating in the camp.
Camp Program
An extensive program has been prepared for participants, including visits to liberated districts as well as historical and cultural monuments of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur.
The project includes meetings with family members of martyrs, war veterans, officials, and field experts. In addition, the youth will participate in panel discussions, educational seminars, language courses, intellectual games, and various training sessions.
History of the Project
Previous diaspora youth summer camps were held in Sheki, Shamakhi, Shusha, Nakhchivan, Lachin, and Khankendi. Since its inception, more than 700 young people from 84 countries around the world have taken part in the project.
