The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the destruction of an underground command center belonging to Hezbollah, which was located approximately 300 meters from a United Nations peacekeeping mission (UNIFIL) post in Lebanon.
According to the press service of the Israeli military, during operations in the village of Haddatha, located in the buffer zone in southern Lebanon, an underground tunnel about 55 meters long was discovered. The structure consisted of three rooms and was used by militants as a command post.
The troops also uncovered an underground shaft connected to the tunnel, which contained a large quantity of weapons.
According to the IDF, engineering units of the army successfully dismantled the discovered infrastructure facility this week.
