Changes will be made to traffic organization at the intersections of Binagadi Highway with the Mehdiabad road and Nijat Mustafayev Street.
Jnews.az reports that the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) analyzed traffic conditions in Binagadi district. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that traffic congestion occurs in these areas, especially during peak hours, and road capacity is low.
In order to improve the current situation, ensure the safety of traffic participants, and increase road capacity, traffic organization in that area will be changed. The project was reviewed and approved by the Transport Coordination Council.
As part of the project, traffic channeling through road signs and markings, as well as an increase in traffic lanes at intersections, is planned. Additionally, traffic from Attarov Street will be organized to turn right only.
Furthermore, traffic light operations will be optimized, and the duration of the green phase for the main traffic flow will be increased.
According to AYNA, the changes to be implemented will increase road capacity, minimize conflict points, and allow for a more efficient and uninterrupted traffic flow.
