On August 24, another transit shipment from Russia to Armenia will be sent from Bilajari station towards Boyuk-Kesik. The train will consist of seven propane tank cars with a total mass of 242 tons.
This delivery adds to the volume of goods that have already passed through the territory of Azerbaijan as part of transit traffic between Russia and Armenia. To date, more than 50,000 tons of grain, about 9,000 tons of fertilizers, 1,172 tons of propane, 133 tons of aluminum, 1,114 tons of coal, and 67 tons of timber have been transported along this route.
In addition to transit goods from the Russian Federation, export figures from Azerbaijan to Armenia have been recorded. In particular, about 15,000 tons of diesel fuel were supplied, as well as about 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline.
